Rio is a 4 year old green broke gelding. He has Mr San Peppy on his papers and pedigree goes back to Doc Bar, Colonel Freckles, Leo and King. This horse has a lot of great foundation breeding and has the smarts to prove it. This gelding is extremely intelligent and is a great prospect for the show ring, cutting, reining and is willing to learn just about anything. He is being sold because I have a flourishing business that is causing me to not be able to provide him the time he requires. He was broke last summer and has never bucked while being ridden. He has excellent gates, but does need some polishing on his training. His lope needs worked on and he doesn’t take a bit well. He does work well in a snaffle and hackamore. He is about 14 hands, which makes him actually the perfect size for a person of average height and likes a horse that you can just step on. That’s one of the reasons I purchased him. He has also been ridden both Western and English. He has a lot of brains and learn extremely fast. You would be able to teach him to just about anything you are interested in.
